Your chance to have one-on-one sessions with new music leaders and emerging voices to pick their brains for the inside tips to make your next project, or the next stage of your career, a success. Sessions are FREE, but festival pass holders will get first pick! Book your pass online, and we’ll send you a special sign-up link to pick your “date” and time. There are just four 15-minute dates available with each leader.

Panel: Claire Edwardes (artistic director, percussion – Sydney), Juan Felipe Waller (composer – Berlin), Zubin Kanga (pianist – London), Roland Peelman (conductor – Sydney/Belgium).

The concept of an Australian “voice” is often a theme in discussing new music at home, but how does this play out in an increasingly global music scene? Leading musicians active in Australia and Europe talk about their experiences as international artists and global citizens, as well as the importance of creating a broad and collaborative context for new art making worldwide.
